Traditionally painted houses in narrow cobbled streets. Great views from the walled village. Look out fir the chocolate festival and definitely try the cherry liqueur.
Beautiful place to swim in Cape Town!
There is such a lovely atmosphere at Dalebrook in the morning. I'm talking 7/8am! The water is fresh but still bearable in terms of temperature in Summer. It is such a refreshing feeling swimming in such beautiful water in the tidal pool.
Beautiful hike: 'Wasserweg' in Flims
This is a 'must-do' outing. You will experience nature and local vegetation like in a fairy tale. Takes about 5 hours (downhill from station Naraus or Segneshütte, about 6 hrs starting from Nagens). It is all downhill along the most stunning mountain river.
Some of the best local music in South Africa
These sunset concerts in Cape Town are the place to be on a Sunday evening. The magnificent gardens of Kirstenbosch provide the backdrop for these open-air gigs – the perfect place to spend lazy afternoons. Also a fantastic picnic spot!
Local Rio Favela Tour
I was informed that you can have local guides talking you through this very famous Favela. We were lucky to have a local resident take us through his home. It was inspiring and emotional. The experience was by far one of the best moments in our stay in Rio.

Lush nature, beautiful scenery with the green mountains. You can spend one day or one week in this place and you will love it. My wife went for a Lomi Lomi massage, me and my son took a surfing lesson...What a blast!
